Golden Barberry

This Japanese Barberry is noted for its bright yellow foliage. It grows slowly and upright reaching 4 x 5 feet in size. Stems are thorny. The leaves are yellow spring through summer and turn orange to red in the fall along with bright red berries. In spring tiny pale yellow flowers open on short racemes. Needs full sun for best color. Drought tolerant. Zone 4-7.
